David has obtained a wealth of property experience over the past decade having handled commercial and residential transactions, located throughout the country, and is familiar with all kinds of property transaction.

In particular, David is experienced in dealing with commercial property acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant work (acting for both landlords and tenants) and secured lending work. David is familiar with how commercial property “works” across a broad range of sectors including offices, retail, leisure and industrial. He has handled transactions including leases of high value headquarters premises in the City, the purchase of pubs, taking leases of restaurant premises for a national chain, managing the letting of retail space within large shopping centres and the sale of multi-let office buildings as ongoing investments. David has also acted for several large banks carrying out secured lending.

David enjoys really getting to know the people involved in the businesses he acts for and forming lasting relationships with them.

Charlotte has been a fellow member of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives since April 2013 and has worked in the property industry since 2006.

Charlotte has experience in both commercial and residential property and is experienced in dealing with acquisitions, disposals and remortgages throughout England and Wales.

Particular examples of some of the work Charlotte has dealt with include first time buyer purchases, transfers of part, deeds of easement, high value purchases, lender work including bridging finance, transfers of equity and commercial acquisitions.

Charlotte also has experience in private client matters in particular arranging powers of attorney.

Charlotte is extremley approachable and adept at finding commercially sensible solutions to challenging transactions. Charlotte knows that whether you are buying your first home or a property for your business that the decisions you make can be difficult and clients often comment on her efficiency and ability to explain complex legal issues clearly.

Emma joined DPM Legal in 2017 following a five year sabbatical raising children. Prior to this she trained and worked in the City for a global law firm qualifying into Real Estate. After several years in the City, Emma moved to work in two respective West End law firms again specializing in Commercial Property.

Emma has had a great deal of experience in all aspects of Commercial Property acting for numerous landlords and tenants as well as sellers and buyers in a range of commercial sectors from office spaces to retail units or developments. Emma also has significant experience in Development transactions acting for both the Developer and the buyers/tenants in negotiating contracts conditional on works being carried out/development projects being completed or planning permission obtained. Emma has also acted on behalf of a number of banks in relation to secured lending.

In particular, Emma enjoys dealing with clients and the daily variety of work dealing with a wide range of clients and transactions. She enjoys the challenge of finding commercial solutions for her clients within the sometimes rigid framework of the law.

Sarah joined DPM Legal in 2018 after a three year sabbatical travelling and voluntary work with horses. Prior to this, Sarah has gained 15 years property experience in London, Surrey and Hampshire firms and became a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives in 2012.

Sarah’s main experience lies in residential property and has acted for developers, investors and high net worth individuals over the years, in most types of residential transaction.

Outside of work, Sarah’s interests are horse riding and holidays!
