Sales & Purchases

There are three main steps when purchasing or selling a property:

Stage 1: Title Investigation
This is the very initial stage where the seller issues information relating to the property to the buyer and the buyer carries out their investigation of the property.

Stage 2: Exchange of Contracts
At this stage the seller and buyer sign the contract for the sale and purchase of the property and the contract becomes binding; the buyer will pay a deposit to the buyer at this stage, usually 10%.

Stage 3: Completion
This is where the legal title of the property is transferred and keys are handed to the buyer.

We offer conveyancing services for residential sales and purchases on a fixed fee basis, details of which can be found here.

Typically a transaction takes between 6-12 weeks.

Remortgages

If you are looking to remortgage a property our solicitors are experienced in dealing with these transactions and are able to guide you through the process.

We offer remortgage conveyancing services on a fixed fee basis, details of which can be found here.
