We want to reassure everyone that we are continuing to deal with the various transactions that are continuing during this difficult and challenging time by primarily working remotely whilst maintaining office facilities where required (and of course respecting the social distancing rules).
Most businesses and people are of course suffering currently and we would like to pass our sincere sympathies to everyone affected by coronavirus.
In terms of the commercial property that we deal with, many clients have contacted us to discuss problems that their tenants may be having in meeting their lease obligations and we are able to act quickly to assist in advising on lease terms and agreeing new arrangements (for example variations to leases) where necessary.
On the residential side, most transactions are of course now on hold but we are available to discuss what steps could be taken now in readiness for a planned sale once the lockdown begins to be lifted.
The government has, this week, updated its residential conveyancing guidance, which can be found here.
As always, we are happy to have an initial discussion with you, to see if we can help in any way, so please do not hesitate to give us a call on the usual number if you feel this could be useful.
Stay safe everyone.
